Our Investment
The Sir Charles Court Foundation aims to provide sustainable, long-term funding for a strong and secure Liberal Party in Western Australia. The aim of the Foundation is to provide benefits to our entire community by investing in better-educated leaders, trained political advocates and community representatives. It aims to fund specific educational and community initiatives to ensure that all Western Australians participate in the development and prosperity of our State.
We are focused on delivering on the objectives of the Foundation – to preserve the legacy of Sir Charles Court, conservative-liberal philosophy of a strong independent and progressive Western Australia by sponsoring education and training initiatives that contribute to the development of leaders.
Themes will support and nurture the conservative philosophy and traditions as espoused by Sir Charles Court and will also address contemporary and future topics relevant to Western Australia’s culture, government, and economy. They will bring eminent local, national, and international figures from political and academic circles, the business community, public life and the professions to Perth with the intent to inspire, motivate, educate and inform.

Training & Education
Sponsorship of conservative education and training programs developed by The Leadership Institute will continue to be a priority. Through this partnership and in conjunction with the Liberal Party, the Foundation will investigate opportunities to sponsor new programs in response to emerging issues.

Scholarships & Mentorship
Retention of seed capital, a sound investment strategy and fundraising will, over future years, provide for the development of scholarship and mentorship programs. Opportunities to partner with recognised institutions such as the Australian Institute of Management and Australian Institute of Company Directors has the potential to contribute to a larger pool of leaders with experience in good governance, ethics, and values.
